Vaden Warren was named by Virginia Business magazine as one of the top lawyers in Virginia. The honor recognizes the best lawyers in the Commonwealth in different areas of law. Approximately 7500 attorneys were asked to nominate those they thought were the top attorneys in their area of practice. The project is conducted by the magazine with the cooperation of the Virginia Bar Association.

On December 7, 2005, Vaden Warren was arrested by the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He was served a warrant and taken to the MDA Jail. While in jail, he had to raise bail to be released. Vaden raised over $1400.00, which was more than enough to send two children with muscular dystrophy to summer camp.
